ROLEWe need an experienced Data & Reporting Specialist to support the Department of Interior’s (DOI) Bureau of Land Management (BLM). You’ll support a national energy program which mandates the review, reporting, and accounting of all BLM facilities/assets which are subject to energy consumption and associated energy utilization costs. The focus of the program is to monitor compliance to Federal energy initiatives and assess the facility’s current energy usage and cost. Facility energy usage and cost is tracked within a commercially available utility tracking database and made available for field use. The bureau’s FBMS (Federal Business Management System) application is used to pay utility invoices and report agency energy usage. The NOC Energy program is charged with populating the FBMS energy module using the comprehensive utility data gathered by the Ameresco utility tracking system.This is a full-time opportunity.Apply today!RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter monthly energy utilization data for metered and non-metered records into DOI’s Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) reporting application
• Provide reports that document energy consumption/utilization
• Enter accurate data regarding the monthly cost and consumption data
• Complete data entry for each utility invoice cycle
• Identify and correct conflicts in data collection reports
• Pair metering data with the corresponding assets
• Account for non-metered flat fee sites.
• Work with Data Specialist to review monthly billing statements relative to energy usage and cost.
• Enter the data records into FBMS.
• Participate in meetings
• Help improve and implement processes to expedite data entry process
• Improve tables and scripts from a third-party Energy Data Management Company
• Enter data into DOI’s Facility Asset Management System (FAMS).
• Input data such as Work Orders, Condition Assessments, and Cost Deficiency Codes (Defcode)
• Enter Purchase Requests into FBMS
• Assist data quality control efforts for FAMS data
• The data specialist will assist with auditing data contained in Ameresco system
• Correspond with customers to identify locations of utility meters

• Expertise with Microsoft Excel
• Preference for familiarity with DOI’s Financial and Business Management System (FBMS)

• Progressive and relevant experience
