Immediate Medical Assistant position available for our physician practice group in Bay Shore, NY.

Phlebotomy and EKG experience required

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr

Work Schedule:

• Monday - 8:00am - 3:00pm
• Tuesday - 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Wednesday - 8:00am - 3:00pm
• Thursday - 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Friday - 8:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Medical chart review, taking patient vital signs, phlebotomy and preparation of exam room
• Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
• Front desk admin tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience required
• BLS Certification a plus
• Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• EPIC system experience a plus
