Alternative Manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator, to be based in Winthrop Maine.

Requirements of the SMT Machine operator:

• Basic math skills (adding/subtracting)
• Able to distinguish colors
• Able to recognize, match and count numbers
• Good eye hand coordination and multi-tasking
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus
• Open-mindedness approach to improvements in process flow
• Ability to commute to Winthrop Maine Monday through Thursday.

• Shift hourly pay: $16.50 – $17.05 depending on experience
• One-week Paid Time Off after 120 days and can earn up to another week within the first year

• Monday – Thursday: 6am – 4:30pm Three-day weekend!

• Responsible for running multiple machines in a production single piece flow operation.
• Creating a reflow schedule for products
• Recording defect data
• Periods of standing and some sitting required
• Working as a team where respect for employees and customers is a way of doing business.
