Company Overview:
Kloepfer, Inc. is a leading provider in the construction industry, committed to producing high-quality gravel, concrete, & asphalt products through innovative practices. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Excavator Operator.

Job Description:

  • Operate Excavator to trench/spread and level sand, dirt, gravel, and stone, to grade specifications per plans in construction
  • Shape and finish shoulders and slopes.
  • Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
  • Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
  • Keep records of material or equipment usage or problems encountered.
  • Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions for job completion as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for the Excavator Operator position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of Excavator Operator experience.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to operate the Excavator, must demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policy and safety standards.
  • Communication with other operators, truck drivers and general laborers is critical.
  • Effective communication with other operators, truck drivers, and the general public is critical.
  • Must have the ability to operate and maintain Excavator with little or no supervision.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must wear proper attire at all times including: safety vests, safety glasses when appropriate, long pants, hard sole/close-toed shoes, and reflect a clean and presentable image..
  • Continuous mental and visual attention is necessary to safely and effectively complete work tasks.
  • Project a positive and cooperative attitude by maintaining courteous and professional conduct with Supervisors, co-workers, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be able to provide proper documentation that you have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Valid Driver’s License Required.
