Job Title: AWS Developer

Location: Malvern, PA (Onsite)

Duration: 9 Months

W2- Contract

Responsibilities:

• This contractor will help build and manage the Data Discovery team products.
• As a Developer, they will be responsible for developing applications for user interaction.
• Responsible for implementing, testing, and deploying the applications.
• They will also need to analyze current state and collaborate on system design with the Tech lead.
• Development experience with Python/Java, React & Angular is required. Deploying applications on AWS is preferrable.
• Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs.

• Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
• Provides intermediate level technical support and monitors multiple cloud technology platforms efficiently using monitoring tools and applications.
• Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms.
• Develops technical standards.
• Tests and evaluates IT vendor products.
• Reviews configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime.
• Trains and mentors staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required.
• Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
• Administers systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance, and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks.
• Evaluating system performance and capacity in a large, distributed infrastructure environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience with 1 years experience in AWS Cloud development.

Programming/Development:

• Python/Java, Boto3, Pandas
• JavaScript Libraries: Node.js, Angular.js, React.js, Bootstrap, JQuery UI
• AWS: CloudFormation, IAM, S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, SQS
• Scripting & Programming Languages: Python, Java, Spark, Bash
• Code pipeline: GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo
• Ability to write unit testing
