Job Details
DescriptionYour growth opportunity
  • Provide professional planning, technical, and program management
  • Prepare site analysis, concept design, design development, and presentations
  • Provide direction, review, and support to the group by leading projects; assuring proper practices and techniques
  • Use software and equipment to prepare and revise technical drawings and plans using company established standard procedures
  • Provide quality control by reviewing completed work to ensure compliance with KLJ quality standards
  • Communicate consistently with the project manager, client and contractor
  • Read and interpret plans to assist with client management and effectively communicate to answer inquiries from coworkers, clients, or the public
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles
  • Assist with the coordination of business development and marketing strategy
  • Adhere to project budget and schedule
  • Instruct, train, and mentor group members and support staff
What you're responsible for
  • May serve as project manager on designated projects
  • Participate in and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and clients
  • Public involvement may include reports, graphics, presentations, and other visual material
  • Confer with project team members and clients to lead, prepare, and participate in project proposals and interviews
  • Assist with design, plans, specifications, reports, maps, schedules, estimates, data collection, and documents and agreements as needed
  • May plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and monitor client relations
What you'll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Land Use Planning, Urban/Regional Planning, Transportation Planning, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Civil Engineering, Public Administration or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience
Preferences
  • A Master’s Degree is highly desired.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $75-110K.
