POSITION OVERVIEW

The Data/BI Architect at Burn Boot Camp will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture to support the organization's data-driven initiatives. This role requires expertise in managing data platforms such as Snowflake and proficiency in data visualization tools like Domo or similar platforms. The Data Architect will be responsible for creating dashboards, building business intelligence data stores, and developing a comprehensive data strategy to drive informed decision-making across the organization and our Franchise Partners.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data architecture to support Burn Boot Camp's data needs, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance with the help of manage service providers in this space
• Manage and optimize data platforms, including Snowflake, to support data warehousing, analytics, and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions and insights.
• Create and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation to support data governance and compliance efforts.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for data quality, data integration, and data governance to ensure consistency and accuracy of data.
• Lead the development of a comprehensive business intelligence strategy, including identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data management, analytics, and visualization to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field – or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Data or Business Intelligence Manager or Architect or similar role, with expertise in managing data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI, with experience in creating dashboards and reports.
• Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into data solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in the fitness or wellness industry is a plus but not required.
