• Oversee day-to-day operations of the grain elevator facility, ensuring efficient and safe handling of grain products.
• Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling staff to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate with farmers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of grain shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage grain storage to maximize space utilization and minimize spoilage or loss.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
• Maintain equipment and facilities, scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed decisions about buying, selling, and storing grain products.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to grain shipments, inventory levels, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost savings to optimize the efficiency and profitability of the grain elevator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
