Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account reconciliation, analysis, and negotiation. This position requires knowledge of financial concepts and revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely payment processing
- Analyze accounts receivable data and identify discrepancies or issues
- Communicate with clients to negotiate payment plans or resolve billing disputes
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure proper coding
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries or issues
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update account information
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Note: All positions at our company are paid, including internships.
