Basic Function:

Custodial Supervisor

Basic Function: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial, industrial, or other establishments.

Skills Requirements:

• Managing and related services in building(s) of similar size of 200,000 square feet and complexity. Experience shall include: high traffic, fast pace scenarios, supervising complex schedules, in multiple buildings and multiple shift operations.
• Perform required services for multi-storied/multi-tenant facilities/executive offices.
• Ability to perform schedule and unscheduled maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.
• Maintenance of landscape irrigation systems.
• Custodial and Grounds Maintenance.
• Ability to maintain or clean facilities designated as Historic by the Historic Building Society and/or contain historic components.
• Ability to manage and direct work activities of janitorial staff to include training, planning, assigning, inspecting work for quality issues, conduct appraisal performance, address complaints and resolve problems.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience Requirement

Custodial Supervisor shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience supervising a janitorial crew.

Education Requirement

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
