1. Unit Name: Off-Site Phlebotomy Supervisor.

2. Brief Job Description:

• Oversee all activities and supervise approximately 30 off-site Phlebotomy staff members at 18 different locations.
• Work with on-site Phlebotomy Supervisor to ensure department is staffed and properly scheduled at all times. Help with payroll and corrective action of employees.
• Maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

3. Years of Experience Required: 5 years of management experience as a Phlebotomy Supervisor; 3 years of specialized training as a Histotech and fully proficient in all areas of Pathology.

4. Required Certifications: BS in Science and/or MBA (preferred). Certification as a HT (Histotech). Active MA Phlebotomist License. Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.

5. Patient Population: Adult medical patients.

6. EMR (Charting System): EPIC.

7. Rotating Shifts Required: Rotate to weekends and holidays as assigned to assure uniform quality of laboratory services.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Phlebotomy Technician: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
