- Location: Dover, NH
- Duration: 13 Weeks contract
- Shift: Day/Evening
Job Description:
- Tech - Central Sterile, 40hrs
- *** 1. Unit Name: Central Sterile.
- 2. Brief Unit Description: The Sterile Processing Department (Central Supply, or Sterile Supply as it is also known) comprises that service within the hospital in which medical/surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, prepared, processed, stored, and issued for patient care.
- 3. Years of Experience Required: 2yrs.
- 4. Skill Sets Required: Independently performs receiving, sorting, and decontamination of surgical/clinic items and instrumentation; inspection and packaging of single instruments and instrument kits; identification of appropriate sterilization method and cycle selection, appropriate documentation for all sterile processes; and accurate inventory assignment relating to the case cart build process.
- 5. EMR (Charting System): EPIC & SPM.
- 6. Floating Required: No.
- 7. Rotating Shifts Required: As needed, may include weekend on-call hours.
- 8. Certifications Required: CRCST or CBSPD.
- 9. Additional Information: Flexible endoscope reprocessing experience is a plus.
