Preschool Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for preschool children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children.
- CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
-Current Central Oregon Background Registry Number is required for immediate start after interview and hire, but will interview candidates without one.
