Job Summary:
We are a 25 year old Miscellaneous Ironworks Company seeking experienced Shop Fabricators, Installers and Helpers to join our team. As a member of our team, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Fabricator Duties and Requirements:

- Oversee all shop production.

- 5 years of previous experience as a Fabrication Ironworker (Fabricator) or in a similar role is preferred.

- Knowledge of fence, railing, all types of stair, fire escape, and other ornamental ironwork fabrication.

- Ability to meet project deadlines.

- Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations.

- Must be able to read blueprints/shop drawings and have a general knowledge of a miscellaneous fabrication shop and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and professionally.

- Must know how to weld neatly and with minimal supervision, proficiency in stick welding techniques a must.

- Must speak, read and write in English and be able to properly communicate and follow instructions in English.

- Must be aware of and follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

- OSHA 20, F60, G60 and a Welding Certificate is highly recommended and will be considered first.

- Should have at least 2 years in a fabrication shop supervisor role. or have the knowledge and willingness to supervise.

Installer Responsibilities and Requirements:

- On-site/field assembly and installation of miscellaneous iron works including railings, all types of steel stairs, stringers, landings, fire escapes, fences, columns, etc.

- 3 years of successful previous experience as an Ornamental Installer

- Responsible for erecting structural steel components, performing welding tasks, and using various tools and equipment to complete construction projects.

- - Solder or weld small parts together as required

- Must be able to show care and responsibility to customers and company property. maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

- Must have a Welding Certificate, OSHA 40, Scaffolding Certificate, F60, and G60.

- Must be able to read blueprints, speak, follow instructions and communicate in English.

- Must have a Driver's License and be able to safely maneuver work vans and trucks.

Helper/Apprentice Duties and Requirements:

- Assist the Ironworker with the installation and/or fabrication of large and small steel ornamental projects.

- Must have Osha 40, Scaffolding . and Fire Guard Certifications

- Must be able to properly and safely lift heavy items.

- Must be aware of and follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

- Must be able to speak and understand English, pay attention to details. be careful, motivated to learn and grow.
