This position is required for pre-veterinary or veterinary technician students interested in our hospital's intern program. In addition to the rewarding nature of the role, we offer a competitive pay of $16.00 - $20.00/hour.

BECOMING OUR KENNEL TECHNICIAN

You are responsible for providing optimal care to our boarding dogs, cats, and shelter animals. Your duties include basic animal husbandry, dog play supervision, cleaning and maintaining the facility, laundering bedding, and ensuring up-to-date records. You work with a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, rats, mice, and occasionally birds or fish. From feeding and medicating to recognizing signs of illness and providing essential grooming, you keep our animals looking and feeling great!
