Access Screener Coordinator- Full Time
Hiring Range: $24.94 - $30.55 per hour

• Respond to individual requests for service through phone and in-person interactions, providing immediate crisis intervention when necessary.
• Utilize your clinical judgment and de-escalation skills to effectively assist individuals in distress or facing a behavioral health crisis.
• Acquire a deep understanding of KMHS services and their eligibility criteria to provide accurate information and referrals.
• Become certified as a Navigator to guide clients in obtaining Medicaid funding.
• Master the knowledge of community services, Medicaid eligibility, DSHS programs, and benefit application processes to offer guidance and appropriate referrals.
• Manage the electronic medical record system with accuracy and timeliness, completing required reports, data entry, and database management.
• Process referrals from primary care physicians, ensuring compliance with electronic medical records and monitoring outcomes across the agency.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.
