Job Description Summary: The Global Logistics Manager will ensure that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization. S/he will organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations as well as manage transportation data. Job Description: Job Description: Monitor and troubleshoot outbound shipments with an emphasis on tracking OTIF shipments and minimizing late shipment chargebacks. Create & run analysis reports. Use reports to identify root issues and adjust/suggest changes to protocol accordingly. Set up a continuous improvement approach to logistic operations globally; be responsible for business continuity, including creation of mitigation plans Provide guidelines for in store logistic operations, identifying the right balance with warehouse activities and simplification needs Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers. Respond to and resolve complaints and problems Keep up to date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred Mid to high level Program Proficiency (MS Suite) Inland transportation experience/knowledges required Knowledge in Power BI, SAP, Smartsheet is a plus. Experience in LTL operation or Truck dispatcher is a plus.
