GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Specialist is responsible for planning and maintaining classes for all levels of Emergency Medical Services in both Academic Affairs and Continuing Education. It is expected that the Program Specialist be familiar with various formats for delivering education and has the ability to transform existing curricula into alternative formats. Finally, the Program Specialist will be responsible for considering additional EMS certificates/curricula and communicating industry needs to the relevant Program Director/Developer. The work schedule for this position will typically be Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
UNIVERSAL CORE COMPETENCIES:
Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
