Job Description:
As a Cashier/Hostess at Kinya Ramen, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to our guests from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests in and out of the restaurant. Additionally, you will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, provide assistance to guests as needed, and contribute to creating a positive dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and seat them at their tables
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart
• Provide guests with menus and answer any questions they may have about the menu or restaurant
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems
• Handle cash transactions, including processing payments, making change, and balancing cash drawers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and hostess stand
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• At least 16 years old
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred, not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using POS systems
