Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks.
This position is Tuesday-Thursday 8am-4pm
Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance forms
- Ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
