We strive to be a one-stop contractor, working closely with clients to provide turnkey projects that are completed in a timely manner with the highest level of quality and a positive, can-do attitude. Our client base covers a wide range of industrial applications, including aggregate and mineral processing, manufacturers, food processors, and water and wastewater treatment plants. We have the capabilities to provide the industrial services for projects anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic region. We self-perform heavy foundations, fabrication, erection, rigging, millwright, piping, crane rental and heavy hauling.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking detail oriented and experience Fabricators for our growing industrial fabrication team in York, PA. A successful candidate should have a willingness to learn and basic understanding of complex drawings and instructions. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Layout, fit up, assemble and fabricate using engineered drawings.
  • Welding structural and plate steel parts as specified per drawings and marked up weld symbols
  • Experience with pipe fitting and welding is preferred
  • Maintain good housekeeping
  • Obtain and maintain the required welding certification(s)
  • Assure the structural components are welded correctly with visual inspection
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, air arc, grinder and magnetic drill and any other required tools of the trade
  • Communicate up and down the line to ensure quality and completeness
  • Assure work is completed in a safe manner while following all required safety policies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to, cleaning work area, operating break machine, shear and other production related jobs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience operating Overhead Cranes is preferred
  • Prior welding experience is preferred
  • Welding certification in D1.1 2G/3G is preferred
  • Must be flexible to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
  • Must have strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and instructions
