This is a full-time hourly position reporting to the Operations Manager in the distribution center. Candidate will be responsible for supervising 15 employees and assisting the Operations Manager with daily operations and/or projects. Candidate must have strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. · Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
· Monitor and analyze inventory movements to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
· Works closely with the operations manager to oversee daily business operations.
· Monitors order pickers on the floor and aid in training.
· Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures within the office and on the distribution floor.
· Proactively recommend improvements to increase order accuracy and efficiency.
· Liaise with the order pullers on the floor to improve performance and work efficiency.
· Attending to any correspondence and emails by parent company.
· Ability to operate heavy machinery, such as a forklift.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.- 60 lbs.
· Must be dependable, analytical, and self-starter.
· Be able to work independently, quickly, and accurately.
· Strong computer and math skills are a must.
· Responsible for bin replenishment, bin cycle counts, and solving inventory issues.
· Experience in a business work environment preferred.
· 2 years of supervisory experience.
· Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong business acumen.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· An eye for attention to detail.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional analytical skills.
· Ability to work and stand for long periods of time.
· Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Prefer 1 to 2 years of experience.
· Needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
