Job Description
1st Shift 6am to 10:am , Monday through Sunday. Must be able to work weekends for a 2nd shift schedule (not available in New Castle, DE)
The Janitor is responsible for the cleaning of and maintenance within the facility to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the residents and guests. The Janitor will keep the building and grounds in clean and orderly condition to meet specifications. The Janitor will also be responsible for the following:
Cleaning of community areas, such as dining, lobby, lobby areas, lobby machines, exercise area and bathroom areas.
- Sweep and pick up trash throughout the day, as well as additional duties as assigned.
- Emptying trash receptacles throughout the day.
- Making sure there are no feces or other items that may be harmful to the residents.
- Assisting in all aspects of resident relations including resident safety and comfort.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, write clearly, and read clearly.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk continuously for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend over, kneel, squat, lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $400.00 per month
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
- Morning shift
