Reporting to the Vice President of Operations at KINA, the Mendota Plant Manager will oversee and coordinate production, maintenance, quality assurance, and compliance functions at the Mendota site. Responsibilities include ensuring operations align with company objectives, budget goals, fabrication quality systems, and customer satisfaction. The Plant Manager will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and compliance, while also managing projects and implementing systems with a focus on manufacturing cost reduction. This position involves leading the entire on-site operations team and collaborating regularly with the KINA Operations team.
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
Management Duties: Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Incumbent will have two (2-4) direct reports.
All Employees have the following compliance obligations:
Education and/or Experience: BS in engineering or other related engineering discipline, construction or related field required. Minimum of (5) five years of experience in production management, or BS in business, plus at least seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment where at least five (5) of those years are in a production management role with progressive responsibility and experience leading a multidisciplinary team of facility personnel.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write complex reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate orally and written in English. Understanding of Spanish preferred.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
