The Dietary Aide may be trained to work in three areas of the Dietary department which includes: dish room, cafeteria and store room. Dietary Aide must maintain work areas sanitary and in clean conditions at all times.

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate, read and write the English language.
• Demonstrates good knowledge of safe food practices and willing to learn good infection control techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• Ability to carry out directions regarding each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs to provide the appropriate preparation of food.
• Ability to develop a thorough understanding of therapeutic diets through formal education or on-the-job training.
• Able to work rotation of hourly schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Physical demands:
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, manipulating equipment, temperature tolerance, heavy cleaning, subject to stressful situations and ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Fully Vaccinated COVID-19 status preferred.
