We are looking for a lot porter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inside and outside appearance of the dealership.

Preparing new and used equipment for sale. Arranging equipment to ensure a neat and appealing show lot. Loading and unloading equipment for customer’s delivery and pick up of equipment.

To ensure success, you should exhibit safe driving skills and have experience operating equipment. Ultimately, a top-notch porter is someone who can be entrusted with valuable property, upbeat and polite.

Responsibilities :

• Moving equipment between the dealership’s display area, workshop, storage facility, and pick-up point.
• Driving and handling equipment responsibly to ensure damage prevention and protecting dealership property at all times.
• Pick-up and delivery between dealer multiple locations.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of all equipment on the lot.
• Providing assistance with keeping the lot clean and tidy at all times.
• Driving off-site to run dealership errands when required.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks, such as changing batteries, check tire pressure, and filling fuel, oil, and other fluids.

Porter Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Pass drug and background test
• Working knowledge of basic equipment maintenance would be advantageous.
• Ability to assume responsibility for the valuable property of customers and the dealership.
• Willingness to learn and to perform a wide range of allocated tasks.
• Ability to take accurate notes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work.
