Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects within a 2 hour radius of Forest City, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction trades, supervising crews, and coordinating projects. As a superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of all tasks
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets industry standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors

Requirements:
- 5-10 years field experience in the construction trades
- Proven experience as a crew leader, foreman, superintendent or similar role
- Proficiency in construction management software such as submittal exchange or procore
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and practices
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
