What's the job?

• Co-construct & prioritise with team use cases of procurement analytics (category / strategic sourcing / Source to Pay / CSR & risk / etc.)
• Define data architecture to gather all different sources of information from internal (ERP, Coupa, Finance, GMAO, etc…) to external (financial & CSR supplier scoring, market data, suppliers, etc.)
• Define data requirements for set objectives / assigned projects
• Support heads of categories in developing category specific key performance indicators and underlying data models for sustainable category performance management
• Coordinate activities within Group Procurement to realise and document data & analytics strategies 
• Cleanse, standardise, normalise data 
• Perform statistical tests, running data queries on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity
• Ensure data models / reports are designed for multiyear tracking and ease of variance analysis over time
• Leverage existing technology solutions for maximum impact
• Influence procurement technology roadmap to realise analytics strategy and bridge potential gaps
• Develop a deep understanding of our GNFR spend across all banners and categories by mining, searching, analysing and segmenting the spend data
• Ensure standard data queries are documented and recorded for efficient future runs (source databases, tables, fields, refresh frequencies etc.)
• Train Group Procurement colleagues on category performance data models as appropriate 
• Support Heads of categories and Productivity Manager with advanced analytics requests 

What you'll bring

• Experience operating in a global / multi-cultural / matrix organisation
• General knowledge and understanding of procurement fundamentals
• 5 years’ data analytics
• Analytical skills to extract logic, insights, and conclusions for complex problems
• Data collection, mining, modelling, analytics, statistics & business intelligence
• Data science degree
• Advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft SQL Server, PowerBI
• Effective communications
• Ability to engage, connect and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Be agile in a fast-changing environment with multiple priorities
• English fluent (min.B2)
