Job Description:

We are a small e-commerce business looking for another member to join our manufacturing team! As a Vinyl Weeder, Transferer, and Packaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our team. You will be responsible for carefully weeding vinyl designs, transferring the vinyl, and packaging the final decals. Our e-commerce business is run entirely from our home studio, so there will be no customer interaction. This is purely the manufacturing side of our online business.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Basic knowledge in Adobe Illustrator is REQUIRED.
• Must be patient as weeding requires extreme attention to detail.
• Carefully and precisely weed intricate vinyl designs, ensuring only the desired elements remain.
• Collaborate with the designer to preserve the integrity of the intended design.
• Able to operate and maintain vinyl cutting equipment such as: Cutting plotter, exacto knife, and scissors.
• Work quickly and efficiently.
• Extreme attention to detail, good vision, and a steady hand for precision tasks.
• Able to carry rolls of material up to 40 pounds.
• Conduct quality checks on each finished product, promptly addressing defects or inconsistencies.
• Artfully and securely package vinyl decals, considering aesthetics and protection during shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines and manage tasks effectively.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and equipment operation.
• Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Communicate effectively with the supervisor providing progress updates and addressing challenges.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
