King Tech has an immediate opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Mechanical Engineers in the designing of new products and making improvements to existing products to Navy C4ISR systems and their components.

Position Summary/Description:

Responsible for large system design, testing, installation, and analysis. Uses ILS data and risk/trade-off analysis of several systems in the creation of the design of C4ISR systems. Excellent compensation including full benefit package.

Essential Duties:

• Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Designs new products and makes improvements to existing products.
• Evaluates products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability and ensures project completion.
• Supervises other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner.
• Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. 
• May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
• Conducts product testing and creates models and prototypes. 
• Possesses senior project management experience for planning, scheduling, and execution of large programs.

Qualifications Required:

• DoD Secret Security Clearance
• DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IT Level I and IAT Level II certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 12 years of experience
• Security CE Certified.
