Our machine shop is in immediate need for a few CNC Lathe setup and Operator in the city of Garden Grove. 2nd shift position with a lot of overtime.Responsibilities:• Interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.• Set up – operate machine(s) and load with correct cutting tools.• Inspect work pieces throughout a production run.• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.• Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts.• Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control employees and other personnel for assignments.• Resolve machining or quality issuesRequirements:• Machine operator - set up experience.• Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. • Mori Seiki machines helpful• Twin spindle is a plus• CNC Lathe Machining: 4 years (Preferred)Ability to commute / relocate:• Garden Grove, CA 92841 – Reliability commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Experience level:• Must have 4 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Setup & Operator • CNC machine: 2 years (Required)Job Type: Full TimeSalary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:• 401(K)• Dental & Vision Insurance• Employee assistance program• Health Insurance• Life Insurance• Paid time off• Retirement planDay range:• Monday to Friday• SaturdayShift:• 7:00 am to 4:30 pm / 4:00 pm to 2:30 am (10% shift differential pay) • 10-hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday• Night Shift • Overnight Shift) • Overtime
