The Supply Chain Analyst is a detailed-oriented position requiring extensive data mining, precision, and critical thinking. This person will provide deep dive analysis and data supported solutions to complex supply chain problems. The role will be expected to innovate and improve processes while increasing communication companywide, utilizing new techniques, technology, and perspectives. The position will interact with multiple departments including, but not limited to: Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and externally suppliers. This person reports directly to the Head of Sourcing and Procurement Systems, must be able to learn and adapt existing knowledge to a constantly changing landscape. Job Responsibilities: Gathers and interprets relevant data with goal to identify problem areas, support solutions, improve efficiency, cut costs, and/or relay facts to support management decisions. Supports monthly updated cost performance, volume variance analysis in support of budget and LE as well as extend cost forecast for YTD and FY estimates of direct materials. Identifies and engages in process improvement efforts as defined by the Head of Sourcing and Procurement Systems. Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and products. Develops, executes, and summarizes direct material RFP's/RFQ's as outlined by management. Ensures all database and reporting systems meet business and performance requirements. Collect, manage, and maintain critical Procurement source files and relevant data. Establish key metrics, gather data, to report against purchasing demands. Investigates and communicates inventory, supply, and demand issues to appropriate personnel. Provide deep dive analytics, and optimization recommendations as needed. Partner with procurement team to support supplier on-boarding or new material requests. Help support procurement team with root cause analysis when responding to price resolution or invoice exceptions as well as purchase price variances. Track and report price trends, identify data inconsistencies or price variances to mitigate supply issues. Analyze supplier performance, establish metric tracking to support supplier scorecards. Responsible for ad hoc reporting and metrics to provide data driven recommendations to Sourcing Management. Liaison between Quality, Sourcing, Suppliers, and Inventory Analyst to support resolution of defective material requisitions. Interacts with internal and external partners such as Accounts Payable, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Suppliers. Comply with King's Hawaiian safety policies and positively promotes safety in all areas. Skills/Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university. Experience in a Supply Chain food manufacturing preferred. Strong SAP functional skills, S/4Hana, MM, Fiori, or related systems. Highly skilled in Excel, comfortable with mathematics and statistics. Advanced organization skills, diligence, and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Service minded. A self stater, with ability to adapt to changing environment, a desire to learn and to be challenged. Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action. Strong working knowledge with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Project, and other analytical tools like Tableau, and MicroStrategy or similar technology required.
