POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of Assistant General Manager, maintain areas surrounding the swimming pool in a safe, clean, and orderly condition and assist with pool activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain areas surrounding the swimming pool in a safe, clean, and orderly condition throughout assigned shift.
• Monitor the guest population at the pool.
• Reference the owners/guests list report to verify pool use as current owners and/or guests on property.
• Ensure social distancing and group gathering as mandated by state law.
• Be familiar with pool safety equipment and its uses.
• Close pool during signs of threatening weather.
• Assist and monitor guests in pool area; ensure compliance with all swimming pool rules.
• Monitor and ensure social distancing between guests.
• Maintain clean and orderly condition of fitness room and restrooms (men and women); Replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist and control pool activities as directed.
• Follow established policies and procedures, e.g. uniform standards.
• Represent King’s Creek in a positive, professional manner at all times.
• Must be punctual with a positive attitude.
• Comply and enforce our conservative grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform additional or different duties, from those set forth above, to address business needs and changing business practices as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred; Current High School students are eligible. Must be 16 years of age.

Experience: Background in hospitality industry preferred; Customer services related work history preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an active environment; to stand for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds of weight; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects; reach forward and above the head with hands and arms; Specific vision abilities usually required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions: Part-time, seasonal position (20-29 hrs/wk), mid May-Labor Day; Varied work schedules to include; day, evening, holiday, weekend hours.

Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and is occasionally loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevailing at the time.

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
