Job Description: Lot Attendant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Lot Attendant to join our team. As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization and cleanliness of our company's parking lot and vehicle inventory. Your primary goal will be to enhance the overall customer experience by maintaining an orderly lot and assisting customers with their vehicle needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lot Maintenance: Properly organize and park all vehicles in assigned areas, ensuring vehicles are spaced appropriately and displayed in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
2. Vehicle Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are clean, damage-free, and ready for customer use. Report any damages or issues to the appropriate personnel.
3. Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by promptly assisting customers with their parking needs, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate resources.
4. Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of all vehicles entering and exiting the lot, including relevant documentation and vehicle details.
5. Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and orderly lot by regularly removing debris, trash, and snow (if applicable). Ensure the lot is well-lit and safe for both customers and employees, following all safety protocols.
6. Vehicle Tagging: Properly tag vehicles with assigned identification numbers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Vehicle Retrieval: Retrieve and dispatch vehicles as requested by customers, salespeople, or other team members, while maintaining accurate documentation of the time and purpose of each vehicle movement.
8. Vehicle Fueling: Monitor and complete vehicle fueling tasks as necessary, assuring vehicles are adequately fueled and ready for customer use.
9. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain a positive work environment.
10. Adhering to Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, dress code, and attendance requirements.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive or customer service setting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and other physical tasks as necessary
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
