King Bishop is Hiring a Director of Information Technology Near Franklin, MA

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Hands On leader to join our clients growing company. As the IT Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation and ensuring our IT infrastructure and systems align with our business objectives. You should have a strong background in ERP implementation and management, as well as a track record of successful leadership in an IT capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the company's global IT strategy to support overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a small IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and communicate IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment.

ERP Management:

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of ERP systems.
  • Ensure the ERP system is optimized to meet business needs, and provide direction for customization, integration, and enhancement projects.
  • Work closely with functional teams to align system configurations with their specific requirements.

IT Infrastructure and Security:

  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud resources.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols, disaster recovery plans, and data protection measures to safeguard company assets.

Vendor and Project Management:

  • Evaluate and manage IT service providers, software vendors, and technology partners.
  • Oversee IT projects, including budget management, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure successful implementation.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure IT systems and practices comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate IT-related risks and vulnerabilities through regular assessments and audits.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective IT solutions that align with business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization while delivering high-quality IT services.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting on IT activities and performance.
  • Regularly report to senior management on IT progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in IT leadership roles, with a focus on ERP implementation (SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, best practices, and their integration into business processes.
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure and security management.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to IT.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
