Kinexion is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Manorville, NY

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of payroll as they affect the General Ledger.

Monday - Friday 8a - 4p

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of payroll labor costs including updating labor distribution profiles
  • Prepare the position control
  • Develop monthly reports to be distributed with the financial statements based on requests from Executive Directors
  • Prepare payroll reports as requested
  • Prepare payroll budgets and comparative analysis of actuals to budgets
  • Reconcile all general ledger accounts impacted by the payroll journal entry including the bank reconciliation
  • Responsible for all Kronos activities relating to tax reporting and w2s including reconciling quarter tax reports, reconciling w2 data, closing the quarters and closing the year.
  • Coordinate all payroll audits including Workers Comp audit and Retirement plans
  • Monitor the 403b employee deductions and loan activity at Principal
  • Responsible for processing the Deferred Compensation employer contribution monthly upload
  • Calculate the 401a annual contribution
  • Review PTO accruals in Kronos and update profiles
  • Provide back up for payroll processing
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Consumer Entitlements as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • BA or BS in related field
  • 5 years General Ledger/ Payroll experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
