Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman, with desirable experience in the mounting and installation of prefabricated architectural concrete panels. The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of prefabricated construction and installation techniques, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate and supervise construction crews to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed schedules for the installation process.
• Ensure that project timelines align with the project requirements.

Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and manage installation crews, providing clear guidance on the precise mounting and installation processes required for prefabricated panels.
• Enforce safety protocols and foster a strong safety culture among the installation team.

Communication:

• Maintain open communication with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on the progress of panel installation.
• Conduct effective team meetings to communicate project-specific requirements and safety measures.

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure that prefabricated panels meet design and project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to the quality.

Problem Solving:

• Anticipate and resolve challenges associated with the installation process, making timely and effective decisions to keep the project on track.
• Collaborate with the project team to find innovative solutions to issues specific to the installation process.

Budget Management:

• Assist in developing and control a budget specific to the installation of prefabricated panels, monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximise productivity

Safety Compliance:

• Enforce and enhance a safety culture tailored to the challenges of the project and GC.
• Ensure all workers are trained on proper handling and installation procedures, and strictly adhere to safety measures.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the installation process, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Document any changes to the original plan or unexpected issues encountered during installation process.

Time Management:

• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, installation process aligns with the overall project timeline.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in the scope or unforeseen circumstances.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman, desirable on erection and installation of prefabricated architectural concrete panels.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of prefabricated construction techniques and materials.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. OSHA 30
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions in a dynamic construction environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
