POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to supervise the staff, oversee all sales, and manage operations for an individual location.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Customer Service

• Leads by example by providing quality customer service

• Drive store volume and enhance customer experience with a focus on education.
• Greet customers in a timely professional and engaging manner.
• Incorporate product knowledge in the selling process.

• Handle any customer service issues in a positive manner; consistently follow up on sales and customer service issues.
• Ensure the security and privacy of all customer and vendor information.
• Promote Kindred by informing customers of clients of any sales or upcoming events.

PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES

• Prioritizes workload to maximize efficiency and minimize the impact on customer experience. Seeks creative solutions to challenges.
• Maintains a healthy work environment for team.
• Interfaces with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and mutual respect.
• Oversee stock including monitoring merchandising and holds and ensuring proper SKU levels.
• Conduct bi-weekly team meetings in store and individual one-on-ones with team members regularly.
• Delegate general housekeeping duties.
• Support Director of Operations in participating in weekly / monthly meetings.
• Create schedules for the Sales Associates and Team Leaders to be approved by the Director of Operations.
• Foster Teamwork and Develop Partnerships
• Build positive team relationships.
• Ensures a positive work environment through recognition and motivation
• Resolves personnel concerns fairly and in a timely fashion.
• Serves as a business partner to Team Leaders, Director of Operations and Ownership and supports new initiatives.
• Interfaces with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and mutual respect
• Build positive team relationships.
• Document any employee issues and report them to Retail Director

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
• Previous retail experience at the Store Manager level.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in order to relay product knowledge and services.
• Strong eye for fashion.
• Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective management skills.
• Retail math knowledge.
• Physical requirements: lift /carry/move 40 lbs minimum including fixtures and Product.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, weekends.
• Ability to actively supervise the sales floor.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
