Currently, we are looking for a experienced and well rounded beverage sales associate to join our growing team in Fairfield County, CT. The ideal candidate must have previous adult beverage retail or distributor experience with a strong base of knowledge in all areas of wine, spirits & beer. Will consider candidates with comparable restaurant experience.

In addition, this position is responsible for increasing guest confidence and loyalty by promoting and executing consistent operation conditions, providing courteous, knowledgeable and prompt customer service while consistently maintaining a positive shopping experience. This position offers great advancement potential for an energetic, highly-focused, results-driven individual. Pay rate is based on knowledge & experience.

Job Requirements

• 2-5 years retail or distributor experience in the adult beverage industry
• An interest and passion for wine, spirits, beer and the drive to continue learning
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both in-person and on the phone
• Superior problem solving skills
• The ability to receive and merchandise inventory
• The ability to analyze sales history and purchase inventory
• Be able to work night, weekend and holiday shifts

Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory, sales and retail business systems (POS and inventory tracking software)
• Ability to communicate effectively in all situations with great interpersonal, active listening skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Maintain a sense of urgency, ownership, teamwork and personal commitment
• Manage time effectively and delegate appropriately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
