We are hiring a full time Respiratory Therapy Manager to join our team in Indianapolis.

At our Kindred Hospitals we intubate, insert a-lines, perform procedures, mobilize vents, aggressive weaning, all aspects of airway care including changing out trachs. With our interdisciplinary team approach to care -- come and work where you can utilize your RT skills.

Kindred Hospital Indianapolis (Central) is a 59-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We are located by White River just off North White Parkway at 1700 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

A Respiratory Therapy Manager / RRT:

• Directs therapeutic patient care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and direction of the medical staff.
• Responsible for the administration of oxygen, therapeutic gas, and mist inhalation to patients in accordance with physicians orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Administration.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Current state licensure.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• ACLS instructor preferred.
• Must maintain currency of NBRC and BCLS/ACLS Certifications and State license.
• Minimum three years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services.
