As aNurse Manager (RN)youwill:

• Beresponsible for the overall direction and supervision of patient careactivities and nursing personnel of a nursing unit.
• Consultswith staff, physicians, and Chief Nursing Officer on nursing problems andinterpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
• Ensuresnursing staff follows policy and procedures, participates in theinvestigation and preparation of reports.
• Ensuresadequate staffing for nursing units.
• Haveauthority and responsibility for implementing the Standards of NursingPractice related to all nursing care areas and functions.
• Actas the administrative representative in the absence of Chief ClinicalOfficer.

As aNurseManager (RN)you will have:

• Bachelor’sdegree required.

• Bachelorof Science in Nursing preferred.

• Additionalstate requirements as applicable.

• Equivalentcombination of education, training, and experience may substitute for educationrequirements.

• ValidRegistered Nurse / RN licensure in the state.

• BCLSand ACLS Certification.

• Minimumthree years’ experience in all aspects of medical surgical nursing.

• Minimumtwo years supervisory experience preferred.
