When you join our team as a Program Director, you will:

• Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences, leverage and develop “best in class” educators to be passionate and committed professionals
• Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites

Required Skills and Experience:

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain

Must Meet One of the MI State Licensing Requirements for the Role:

• Bachelors in ECE or;
• Bachelors degree in child related field with 18 semester hours in ECE 480 hours experience (A child-related field means elementary education, child counseling, child psychology, family studies, social work, or special education) or;
• Montessori credential with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience or;
• Associate's degree in early childhood education or child development with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 480 hours of experience or;
• Valid child development associate credential with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 960 hours of experience or;
• 60 semester hours with 18 semester hours in early childhood education or child development and 1920 hours of experience.

** All program directors shall have at least 2 semester hours or 3.0 CEUs in child care administration, education administration or business administration.

Job Types: Full-time (split shift am/pm programs)

Hourly Pay Range: $21-$23

Expected hours: 30-32 per week
