KinderCare Learning Centers is Hiring a Teacher Near Newington, CT

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement educational activities and lessons for students in accordance with curriculum guidelines
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote a productive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support students who may be struggling academically or socially
- Incorporate physical education and movement activities into daily lessons
- Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in math and other core subjects
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.40 - $16.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
