Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children
- Plan and conduct engaging and educational lessons
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs or learning challenges
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement or additional support
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones
- Foster a love for learning through interactive activities, games, and play
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and techniques
- Strong understanding of curriculum development for young children
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, social skills, and cognitive development
- Experience working with children with special needs or learning challenges is highly desirable
- Familiarity with tutoring or providing additional support to children in need of extra assistance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing situations
