Description

The Renewable Energy Installation Foreman is part of the Kin Home Team of renewable energy experts who build solar and other renewable energy systems. Self-motivation and the ability to work in a team environment are critical. Expect to work on a range of projects from small residential to commercial/industrial and small utility scale solar, energy storage, and microgrid projects.

The Renewable Energy Installation Foreman is a key part of the Operations Team who is responsible for leading safe and high-quality project installations in coordination with the Operations Manager and Superintendent and overseeing installers/laborers on project sites. The Foreman will need to possess a solid background in solar installations. Leadership skills and experience are required to direct the work of the installation team and make quick, safe and, appropriate decisions. The Foreman must be well-organized to complete projects on time and within budget, and never compromise on quality or safety.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in solar installation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Ability to prioritize and implement safety standards and procedures in order to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • NABCEP certification preferred
  • Good understanding of local and national electrical codes
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 Lbs.
  • Clean driving record to allow operation of a company vehicle
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Responsibility:

  • Onsite project management while maintaining safety and quality assurance
  • Lead daily safety meetings with all crew members upon arrival to job site
  • Motivate, lead, and mentor installation crew members
  • Track time on site – complete daily onsite job time reports
  • Onsite customer service with clients during installation phase
  • Complete post install walk-thru with client
  • Follow building plan sets
  • Maintain clean work site- daily clean up before leaving the site
  • Trouble shooting
  • Monitoring set up
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
