Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team in Chattanooga, TN!

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and supervise a team of professionals
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with clients, government agencies, landowners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the project adheres to zoning regulations, environmental laws, and other legal requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial resources effectively.
  • Identify potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure that the project is executed with a high level of quality and meets the client's expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and progress assessments to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of experience in planning and project management
  • Registered American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Preferred
  • Provide high quality deliverables with exceptional client service
  • A desire to lead and grow a planning practice
  • Business development and marketing experience including; writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
