**Description**
Kimley-Horn is seeking a motivated Transportation Analyst to join our Sacramento, CA office. The selected candidate will work with our Transportation Planning and Traffic Operations team. This individual will contribute to the production and delivery of transportation tasks and projects. Various tasks may include developing traffic impact studies, traffic control plans, signage and striping, and other traffic/transportation related duties. Main software used by the team includes Synchro, Vissim, AutoCAD and GIS in addition to other programs.
**Requirements**
* Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* At least 2 years of transportation engineering/planning experience
* Proficiency in Synchro, Vissim, AutoCAD and/or GIS
* Technical skills in multimodal transportation planning desired
* Experience communicating and working with clients
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work with and balance priorities among multiple projects and project managers
