Kimball Area Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1 FTE) K – 12 Vocal Music Instructor for the 2024-2025 school year. Current Minnesota Licensure required. The District has an enrollment of approximately 750 students in grades Pre K – 12. More information regarding the district is available at www.kimball.k12.mn.us.

While working with K-5 students at Kimball Elementary, the vocal music instructor has access to many pieces of equipment including ukuleles, Orff instruments, bucket drums, boomwhackers and other unpitched percussion instruments.

At the High School, the vocal music instructor will work with students in grades 6-12. Students learn music theory while enjoying a variety of music styles. The classroom is equipped with a new electronic piano and an interactive display panel. Students often use technology to record, listen, and evaluate themselves. Keyboards allow the students to learn basic piano skills. The vocal music instructor works in a two-person department with the instrumental music instructor and is a member of a strong multi-department PLC.
