We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a vital role in ensuring the protection of people and property.

Duties:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security and detect any suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including emergency situations
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate areas
• Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises
• Conduct thorough inspections of bags, packages, and personal belongings as necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Requirements:

• Active and valid Level 2 Non-Commissioned
• Active and valid driver's license
• Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and regulations
• Ability to perform surveillance duties effectively
• Understanding of loss prevention techniques
• Military or law enforcement background is a plus
