Kill Crew, a thriving and innovative e-commerce clothing brand, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in managing all financial aspects of our business, ensuring accurate and efficient accounting operations. As the Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all accounts payable, inventory reconciliation, payroll management, costs of goods sold, and taxes.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Management :Process and record vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain vendor relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, and answer inquiries.
• Inventory Reconciliation: Perform regular inventory reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system records.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management decisions.

Collaborate with the operations team to manage stock counts and identify discrepancies.

• Payroll Management: Administer payroll processes accurately and efficiently.

Calculate and process employee wages, bonuses, and deductions. Stay up to date with payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

• Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Tracking: Record and monitor COGS accurately to support financial reporting.
• Analyze COGS trends and provide insights to optimize operational costs.

Work closely with the operations and purchasing teams to ensure cost accuracy.

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate tax filings. Collaborate with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
